Before Flood

Floodwaters are expected to strike a small town tomorrow in the early morning hours. There has been a heavy rainfall the past few days. The rainfall, combined with overflowing rivers, means that flooding will likely affect every household in the community. The Mayor has ordered that all homes must be evacuated immediately. Residents will be taken to temporary shelters to wait out the storm. Extra staff has been called in to assist with evacuation efforts, and staff has worked overtime to ensure the safe relocation of residents. Larry and his daughter Ruth are in charge of a group of people that must be evacuated from their residences. Larry and Ruth will need bravery and determination to complete this task. They also need to find certain objects along the way. None of the people in Larry and Ruth’s group has previous experience with evacuations, so they all must work together. They will need to work straight throughout a 24-hour period to make sure everyone is safely evacuated and no one is left behind. Teamwork will be their best weapon against the pending flood.
