Swamp Stories

Martha lives near a large swamp. I know it sounds strange, but she actually lives in a really nice neighborhood that is surrounded by nature. Some folks think it’s scary by the swamp, but Martha loves living there. Tonight, Martha is going to meet some friends who are gathered on the opposite side of the swamp. She gets in her boat and takes a shortcut, forcing her to go through a dark part of the swamp. Although Martha has gone this way many times before, this time things do not go as planned. Her boat gets stuck in the swamp in a place near some crocodile hunters’ houses. Even though Martha has traveled through this place many times before, she does not recall seeing these houses on her previous trips, and she suddenly feels scared. She is unsure what to do, since her boat is stuck and cannot be moved. She hopes to find another boat so that she can leave this scary part of the swamp and feel safe again. Help Martha find her friends, or at least find a place that she can feel safe.
